Hamden Man Arrested on Drug Charges After Brief Foot Chase: PD
Police say the man was found to be in the possession of 37 Clonazepam pills and some marijuana.

Hamden, CT — A 36-year-old Hamden resident faces drug charges after police say he was observed participating in a drug transaction and apprehended following a brief foot chase.
The Hamden Police Department Street Interdiction Team concluded a drug investigation with the arrest of Ricardo Davis at about 4:30 p.m. on July 12, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said officers observed Davis participating in a drug transaction in the vicinity of Jean Street and subsequently fled on foot, before being quickly apprehended by police.

Davis was in the possession of 37 Clonazepam pills and a small quantity of marijuana, according to Smith.
Davis, of 238 Butler Street in Hamden, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and interfering with a police officer.

Davis, who was detained on a $2,500 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on July 26.
