Milford, CT - A Hamden man is charged for allegedly hitting another person in a parking lot of a downtown restaurant in Milford early Sunday, police said. Police said at 1:45 a.m. officers responded to the parking lot of a Daniel Street restaurant on the report of a fight. Police said Jerome Saunders, 27, of Pine Rock Avenue in Hamden, is accused of hitting another male following a verbal altercation. He is charged with second-degree breach of peace. Saunders is released on a promise to appear in Superior Court, Milford on July 16.
