Hamden Police Investigating Another Overnight Burglary
The suspect broke into the home and stole the homeowners' wallet, keys and 2012 Ford Escape.

Hamden police are investigating an overnight burglary in which the homeowners’ wallet, keys and vehicle were stolen from a Morse Street home on Monday.
Police responded to the home at 5 a.m. and investigation revealed that an individual entered the residence by removing a screen in the kitchen window, Capt. Ronald Smith said in a press release.
Once inside, several items were stolen, including the homeowner’s wallet and motor vehicle. The motor vehicle is described as a blue 2012 Ford Escape, Connecticut registration 1AHDR7.

The burglary occurred between 2 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., while the homeowners were asleep.

A home on Rolfe Road was also burglarized during the overnight hours last Tuesday and the homeowner’s wallet and keys and their 2014 Volkswagon Passat were stolen.
The suspect in that burglary also forcibly entered the home through the kitchen window.
