Hamden Police Seek Info on Shooting Suspect
A man suffered a gunshot wound to the hip on Saturday night.

Hamden police responded to the intersection of Goodrich Street and Shepard Street on the report of a shooting at about 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 30.
Upon arrival officers found Lamar Trimble, 22, lying on the front step of a Goodrich Street residence with a gunshot wound to the hip. Trimble couldn’t provide any pertinent information, according to police.
Witnesses advised police that the shooter, described as a black male, who was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, fled on foot southbound on Shepard Street. Trimble, who was alert and conscious, was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital for medical treatment.
