Hamden Police Seek Suspect in Armed Robbery of Snack Plus on Putnam Avenue

The store was robbed Wednesday night and the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed about of money.

A man armed with a gun robbed the “Snack Plus” store on Putnam Avenue on Wednesday and Hamden police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

Police responded to 75 Putnam Avenue on the reports of an armed robbery at about 9:15 p.m. on Oct. 8, according to a police press release.

Investigation revealed that an individual described as a Hispanic male, 5-feet-10-inches tall and wearing a black mask entered the store and displayed a handgun. The individual then demanded money from the cash register. Police said the suspect subsequently fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Sergeant Michael Nawrocki and his K-9 partner “Hank” conducted a track that ended in the area of Glendale Street.
