Hamden Road Closure Announced for New Haven Road Race on Labor Day
A portion of the road will be closed while the Faxon Law New Haven Road Race takes place. Hamden Police advise residents of detour routes.
HAMDEN, CT — The intersection of Whitney Avenue and Armory Street in Hamden will be closed between 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 5 due to the Faxon Law New Haven Road Race that is scheduled in New Haven, according to police.
Motorists traveling southbound on Whitney Avenue will be rerouted, police said.
Motorists will be directed to proceed westbound on Armory Street to Prospect Street. Once on Prospect Street, motorists can proceed southbound into New Haven.
