Man Carjacked At Gunpoint In Hamden: Police
The victim's vehicle was found in a pond a short time after the carjacking, according to police.
HAMDEN, CT — A man was carjacked at gunpoint Sunday night in Hamden, according to police.
Police responded to Mill Rock Road around 10 p.m. on March 6 on the report of a carjacking, according to Detective Sean J. Dolan.
Dolan said the victim was walking to his vehicle in a driveway when he was approached by a man with a gun. The suspect took the SUV at gunpoint and pushed the victim to the ground, according to Dolan.

New Haven police found the victim’s vehicle a short time later at Edgewood Park, according to Dolan.
Dolan said the vehicle was unoccupied and partially submerged in a pond.

The vehicle was recovered from the water and processed for evidence by detectives from the Hamden Police Department’s Crime Scene Unit, according to Dolan.
