Man Shot Outside Hamden Nightclub: Police
The victim is expected to survive, police said.
HAMDEN, CT - Police are investigating after a man was shot multiple times outside a Hamden night club early Saturday morning.
Police responded to the Liquid Lava Lounge, 1537 Dixwell Avenue, at about 2 a.m. on June 11 on the report of a shooting, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Arriving officers found the male victim lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds to the stomach.

The victim was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery and is expected to survive, according to Smith.
Smith said a preliminary investigation has revealed that the victim was involved in a verbal dispute with two individuals prior to the shooting. One of the individuals then shot the victim numerous times.

The two individuals were last observed fleeing on foot northbound on Dixwell Avenue, according to Smith.
