Marshall Tucker Band Show Goes on Friday Night
Despite a gloomy start to the day, the show will go on: BREAKING

HAMDEN, CT — Despite a gloomy start to the day, tonight’s Marshall Tucker Band concert will go on, according to Mimsie Coleman, Hamden’s Director of Arts, Recreation and Culture.
The skies are expected to clear this afternoon and the show will be held outdoors.
The show, part of Hamden’s annual Free Summer Concert Series, will take place at Town Center Park, 2761 Dixwell Avenue. Food is available on site with ample free parking.

The opening act, River Mud, will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. with the Marshall Tucker Band performing at 8:15 p.m.
The American Southern rock/country band, which helped establish the Southern rock genre in the early 1970s, has recorded and performed continuously for nearly 40 years. Among their hits: Can't You See, Heard It in a Love Song, Fire on the Mountain and Take the Highway.
