Hamden Symphony Orchestra, an all-volunteer community orchestra in its 55th year, seeks musicians for its 2016-2017 concert-season. Rehearsals are held at Hamden Memorial Town Hall (2372 Whitney Avenue) from 7 pm to 9pm on Thursdays beginning September 8th. We are especially in need of the following, but please inquire for other openings as well:
- Violin
- Viola
- Cello
- Bass
- Oboe (1st Part)
- English Horn
- French Horn (1st Part & 1-2 Additional)
- Harp
- Percussion
- Tuba
