Obituary: Lori B. Tafuto, 59, Of Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — (From Sisk Brothers Funeral Home): Lori Brettagna Tafuto, 59, of Hamden, passed away peacefully on April, 25, 2021 in her home. She is survived by her beloved husband George Tafuto, her mother Helen Mugnai Brettagna of Orange, two sons Michael (Jen) Tafuto of Vernon and Nicholas (Jillian Kahen) Tafuto of Wallingford, a grandaughter Layla Tafuto, a sister Joan (Gerry) Gervasio of Bethany, several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, her best friend Rita Miller and family of Wallingford and her loving dogs, Jenny and Odin. She was predeceased by her father Joseph Brettagna.

Lori was born Aug. 23, 1961 in New Haven, was a graduate of Amity Regional High School and the Katherine Gibbs Business School. She was first employed as an Executive Administrative Asst. at Sikorsky Aircraft and then at United Technologies. She enjoyed traveling and cooking but her main focus was taking care of her loving family.
