Rahsohn R. "Sohnny" Wali, Jr., 11, of Hamden, passed away April 27, 2017 in the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved son of Aiyana Parkinson of Hamden and Rahshon R. Wali, Sr. of Meriden. Caring brother of Aaliyah M. Thompson of Hamden and Razhana T. Wali of New Haven. Cherished grandson of Thomas and Theresa Dawson of Cleveland, OH and Tarajee Wali of Hamden and the late Abdur Rahim Wali, Sr.
Sohnny was a fifth-grade student at Church Street School in Hamden.

Friends may call SUNDAY from 3:00-7:00 PM at the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 830 Jones Hill Rd., West Haven and are asked to go directly to the Immanuel Baptist Church, 1324 Chapel St., New Haven Monday evening with Services 6:00– 8:00. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
