Quinnipiac University to present March 1 teach-in 'Russia's Invasion of Ukraine: What's At Stake?'

HAMDEN – Quinnipiac University will sponsor “Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine: What’s At Stake?,” a teach-in to help the community understand the political, ethical, economic and security consequences of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, from 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, in Echlin Center, Room 101, at Quinnipiac, 275 Mount Carmel Ave. The teach-in is free and open to the public. The public is invited to attend in person or via Zoom. Register here.
Professors taking part in the teach-in include: Anat Biletzki, professor of philosophy and women and gender studies, Sean Duffy, professor of political science and director of the Albert Schweitzer Institute, Mohammed Elahee, professor of international business, Frederick Scholl, associate teaching professor and director of the cybersecurity program, and Gedeon Werner, Novak Family Polish Chair. Christopher Ball, Istvan Szechenyi Chair in International Economics and director of the Central European Institute at Quinnipiac, will moderate.
This program is part of the Provost’s Series on Faculty Scholarship and Engagement, which highlights Quinnipiac faculty scholarship that enhances our understanding of and capacity to respond to pressing issues of local, national, or international importance.
