Ruling Handed Down In Hamden Murder Case: Report
Benjamin Carpenter was accused of killing Jennifer Antonier during Christmas in 2015.

HAMDEN, CT — Benjamin Carpenter, the 27-year-old Hamden man accused of killing Jennifer Antonier, 45, in 2015, was found guilty of murder and second-degree arson Tuesday, reports the New Haven Register.
The killing occurred during Christmas, and after beating and stabbing Antonier, Carpenter set her body and her home on fire in an attempt to conceal the crime. He also burned car hours after the killing.
Carpenter, who remains in custody on a $1 million bond, will be sentenced on June 9.
