Special Olympics to Hold Annual Unified Sports® Fall Festival
Event will take place September 9th and 10th, 23rd and 24th

Special Olympics Connecticut will hold its Annual Unified Sports® Fall Festival on Saturday, September 9th and Sunday, September 10th. During the event, athletes of all abilities from across the state will unite to compete in bocce, golf, sailing and softball with support from volunteers from the community and companies sponsoring the event. Spectators are welcome. Bocce competition will take place at Scalzi Park, 100 Bridge Street in Stamford on September 9th and 10th. Softball will be held at the Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Club, 200 Clement Road in East Hartford on September 9th and 10th. Sailing will be held at the Wadawanuck Club, 196 Water Street in Stonington on Saturday, September 9th and golf will take place at the Sleeping Giant Golf Course, 3931 Whitney Avenue in Hamden on Sunday, September 10th. Events will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. In addition, athletes from Connecticut and Rhode Island will come together to compete in croquet at the Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island on September 23rd and 24th.
