Suspect Steals Keys, SUV from Hamden Home: Police
Police say the keys were stolen from a dresser while the woman was in another room and the SUV was last seen on Wallingford/Meriden line.

Hamden, CT — Hamden Police say a woman’s car keys, and later her SUV, were stolen during a Thursday morning burglary while she was at the home.
Police responded to a Dix Street residence at about 9 a.m. on the report of a burglary.
Capt. Ronald Smith said that while the resident was in another room, the suspect entered her home and stole her car keys from a bedroom dresser.

The suspect subsequently stole her motor vehicle, a white 2009 Dodge Journey, Connecticut registration AC27559.
Smith said the suspect entered the home through an unlocked door.

Shortly thereafter, a Connecticut State Trooper observed the stolen vehicle traveling northbound on I-91, in the vicinity of the Wallingford and Meriden town line, according to Smith.
The vehicle was last seen at that location.
