Teens Rob Pizza Delivery Man At Knifepoint: Hamden Police
Police say a female distracted the delivery man while a group a four teens surrounded him in the street robbery.

HAMDEN, CT — A pizza delivery man was robbed at knifepoint by a group of teenagers Wednesday night in Hamden, according to police.
Hamden Police responded to Legend Pizza, 1500 Dixwell Avenue, at about 8:30 p.m. on March 22 on the report of a street robbery, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said investigation revealed that an employee was making a delivery to a Fourth Street address where he was met by an individual, described as a black female, early teens with braided hair.

The female distracted the employee, at which time four teenage males surrounded him, according to Smith.

Smith said one of the males was in the possession of a knife. The group stole two cellphones and an undisclosed amount of money from the employee.
The suspects subsequently fled on foot, westbound on Fourth Street, according to Smith.
