‘Voice Of Hamden 3’ Singing Competition To Benefit Local Schools
The event features Hamden student finalists and includes a panel of celebrity coaches.
HAMDEN, CT — A singing competition benefiting Hamden Public Schools will be held at Hamden High School next week.
The “Voice of Hamden 3,” a vocal competition and concert celebrating singing talent in Hamden, will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19 at Hamden High School.
The event, presented by the Hamden Education Foundation, will feature Hamden student finalists who will sing their favorite musical selections.

The panel of celebrity coaches includes Jermaine Paul, the winner of NBC’s “The Voice” Season 2, Stacie Morgain Lewis, who played Glinda in Broadway’s “Wicked” and Gabriella Riccio, winner of “The Voice of Hamden 2.”
The Hamden Education Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds to supplement the curriculum and programs of the Hamden Public Schools.

All of the proceeds from the concert will benefit the students of Hamden Public Schools, according to organizers.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and $5 for children 10 and under. Tickets can be purchased at hamdenmainstage.seatyourself.biz or by calling 203-407-2040 ext. 3102. Tickets are general admission.
Three winners will be selected from the competition segment: a “junior” winner, a “senior” winner and an “audience favorite.” The snow date for the event is Friday, Jan. 20 at 7 p.m.
