Woman Arrested In Credit Union Robbery: Hamden Police

The credit union was robbed on Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

HAMDEN, CT — A Hamden woman has been arrested in connection with the robbery of the Connex Credit Union on Wednesday, according to police.

Police responded to the credit union, located at 2100 Dixwell Avenue, around 12:45 p.m. on Aug. 17 for the reported robbery.

The suspect entered the credit union and passed a note to the bank teller demanding money, according to Detective Sean J. Dolan.

Dolan said no weapons were displayed and no one was injured. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money, according to Dolan.

Detective Donald Remillard, along with detectives from the Hamden Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit, quickly identified a suspect in the robbery, according to Dolan.

Dolan said detectives found the suspect, identified as Natalie Medor, later Wednesday evening after an extensive investigation. Detectives also recovered additional evidence from the bank robbery, according to Dolan.

Medor, 36, of Hamden, was arrested and charged with third-degree robbery and second-degree larceny. She was held in lieu of a $20,000 bond with a court date of Sept. 28.
