100 Hartford HealthCare Employees Leave Over Vaccine Mandate

A small percentage of the healthcare company's employees are leaving over a COVID-19 vaccine requirement, according to a report.

HARTFORD, CT — Slightly more than 100 employees at Hartford HealthCare have left the organization due to their refusal to be vaccinated for COVID-19, The Hartford Business Journal reported. However, that number represents a tiny sliver of the company's 33,000 employees.

A company official said about 98% of employees have been vaccinated.

Those who refused the vaccine come from various departments across the system. A company official told the Hartford Business Journal that the vaccine mandate hasn't had a significant impact on staffing.
