HARTFORD, CT — City police are looking for an 11-year-old Hartford girl classified as an "endangered runaway," according to a Silver Alert issued late Wednesday night. According to the alert, sent out at 10:58 p.m., Hartford police are looking for Danielle Meggie, 11, who is described as a Black female with brown hair and green eyes. Police said she stands 5-feet-4-inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. Danielle was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and tan pants. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Hartford Police Department at 860-757-4000.

We’re excited to invite students in&nbsp;grades 4–7&nbsp;to campus for&nbsp;S.P.A.R.K.—a free, hands-on&nbsp;morning of discovery&nbsp;at Kingswood Oxford on&nbsp;Saturday, May 16.
S.P.A.R.K.&nbsp;stands for&nbsp;Science. Play. Action. Research. Knowledge,&nbsp;and that’s exactly what the morning is all about. Students will dive into interactive labs, ask big questions, and explore how science connects to the world around them.
Throughout the morning, students will rotate through all three engaging sessions:
Snack Science: Cracking the Code of Carbs, Fats &amp; Proteins
Students will test everyday foods to uncover the building blocks of life - carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins.
From Cabbage to Chemistry: A Color-Changing Exploration of pH
Using red cabbage as a natural indicator, students will experiment with acids and bases and watch chemistry come alive in vibrant color.
Air Apparent: The Invisible Force All Around Us
Through hands-on experiments, students will explore the properties of air—and discover just how powerful something invisible can be.
