2 Dead After Being Struck By Train In Hartford: Reports
Two pedestrians were fatally struck by a train, according to reports.

HARTFORD, CT — Two people are dead after being struck by a train in Hartford on Monday afternoon, according to multiple reports, including NBC Connecticut.
NBC reports two pedestrians were struck by an Amtrak train around 4:45 p.m. on the tracks north of the Hamilton Street crossing.
The train, Amtrak Hartford Line Train 475, was traveling south from Springfield when the two people were struck, according to FOX 61.

FOX 61 reports there were no injuries for those on board the train, and Amtrak suspended and canceled some rail service due to the investigation.

UPDATE: Train 475 will now operate to New Haven (NHV). The train is on the move and currently operating approx. 3hr late.

Train 494 is cancelled due to an earlier trespasser incident along the route. Alternate transportation buses will be provided.
