2019 Community Excellence & Nonprofit Award Honorees

Hartford, Conn. (November 12, 2019) – Hartford Business Journal has announced the winners of its 2019 Community Excellence & Nonprofit Awards who will be honored during a ceremony at Infinity Hall Hartford on November 21st.

This year’s honorees include:

• Partnership Award: Boys & Girls Club of Hartford and Bank of America
• Corporate Citizen of the Year: Webster Bank
• Corporate Volunteer of the Year: Luis Valdez-Jimenez, Contracts Manager, Pratt & Whitney
• Nonprofit Collaboration of the Year: Foodshare and Hartford’s Camp Courant
• Nonprofit Executive of the Year: Matt Fleury, President & CEO, CT Science Center
• Nonprofit Organization of the Year: Playhouse Theatre Group, Inc. / Playhouse on Park

Hartford Business Journal’s Community Excellence & Nonprofit Awards will take place at Infinity Hall in Hartford on Thursday, November 21st from 7:30-10a.m. In addition to celebrating the honorees, the event will feature a keynote address by Jay Williams, President, Hartford Foundation for Public Giving.
