Hartford Man Reaps Scratch-Off Windfall
The winning ticket was purchased in Cromwell.
HARTFORD/CROMWELL, CT — The number "7" was definitely a lucky number for one Hartford resident who hit it big last week, turning a $5 scratch-off ticket into a massive windfall.
According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., Hartford resident Jeffery Harris won $77,777 playing the Triple Red 777s scratch-off game on Nov. 4.
The winning ticket, which costs only $5, was purchased at Krauszers in Cromwell, according to state lottery officials.
