Aetna Will Host 2nd Annual Mobile Plunge to Benefit Special Olympics

Event will take place on October 27th

(Richard Coyle)

Fearless, fun-loving Aetna employees will jump into the freezing cold waters of Special Olympics Connecticut’s Mobile Penguin Plunge unit to show they support Special Olympics athletes at Aetna’s Hartford Campus on Tuesday, October 27th.

The funds raised by Aetna employees who will have the opportunity to plunge on Tuesday will help support Special Olympics’ year-round sports, health and leadership programs and mission to inspire inclusion and acceptance for people of all abilities. Special Olympics athletes will be on hand to cheer them on.

This is the second year that Aetna will be hosting the fundraiser. Aetna is located at 151 Farmington Avenue in Hartford, and the plunge will take place at 1 p.m. For more information about hosting a mobile penguin plunge for Special Olympics at your business, school or organization, email info@soct.org, visit soct.org or call 203-230-1201 and follow Special Olympics Connecticut on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
