HARTFORD, CT — Police in Hartford are investigating a shooting reported on Garden Street that left a 16-year-old male injured Sunday.
Officers were dispatched to the area of 758 Garden St. after receiving a ShotSpotter alert indicating gunfire, according to the Hartford Police Department on Sunday night.
While officers were on scene, a gunshot victim arrived at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford.
Police said the teen was alert and conscious upon arrival.
The department’s Major Crimes and Crime Scene divisions have taken over the investigation.
Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances of the shooting or any potential suspects.
The case remains active.
