Woman Critically Injured After Being Shot In Hartford: Police

Hartford police are investigating a shooting that left a woman in her 50s critically injured.

HARTFORD, CT — Hartford police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that left a woman in critical but stable condition.

Officers responded to the area of 110 Oakland Terrace after receiving a report of a shooting, according to Hartford Police on Tuesday afternoon.

When officers arrived, they found a woman in her 50s suffering from a gunshot wound.

She was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police said the victim remains in critical but stable condition.

The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene divisions responded to the scene and are leading the investigation.

Authorities said the investigation remains active and ongoing.
