HARTFORD, CT — Hartford police have identified the woman killed in an early-morning stabbing Monday on Bond Street as 32-year-old Nykole Tellado.
Officers responded to the area of 55 Bond St. at about 4:01 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24, after receiving a report that a woman had been stabbed, according to the Hartford Police Department.
Police said officers found Tellado unresponsive. She was taken to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes and Crime Scene divisions responded and have taken over the investigation.
Police said the investigation remains active and ongoing.
No information about a suspect or possible motive was included in the department's latest release.
Police officials had told assembled press at the scene that the incident appears to involve some type of "personal dispute."
