Body Of Missing Man Found In Housatonic River

State Police have located the body of a missing Massachusetts man after several days of searching the Housatonic River.

German Perez, 58, was due to return home in Ashley Falls on the evening of Sept. 25, but never came back. He was last known to be in Lakeville, Conn. State Police found some guardrail damage on Rt. 44 and later found a car submerged in the river. They couldn't confirm if it belonged to Perez.

His body was found about one mile south of where the crash occurred.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy.
