
Start the fall cleanup with a shred and electronic recycling event hosted by American Eagle Financial Credit Union (American Eagle) at the American Eagle Financial Center in East Hartford on Saturday, September 20.
This event will be FREE and open to the public, but limits each car to three boxes of documents and three electronic items. Electronic and paper shredding services are provided by Easterseals/EnviroShred and Info Shred.
Acceptable Items: Paper and file folders for confidential shredding. Staples and paper clips may stay on documents.
- Computers & laptops (max 2 each)
- Tablets, notebooks, and servers/server racks
- Monitors, printers, and audio/video equipment
- Cameras, camcorders, GPS devices, and cell phones
- Mice, keyboards, memory chips, and circuit boards
- Power cords and other electronic accessories
NOT Acceptable Items:
- Ammunition, batteries, or hazardous materials
- Food, beverage containers, or packaging
- Plastics, plastic bags, or paper bags
- Newspaper, magazines, three-ring binders, or cardboard
- Tissue, paper towels, or other paper waste
- Medical waste
