Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation Offers Lantern Tour

Meet the residents of Cedar Hill and hear their fascinating stories on this lantern-led tour of the historic cemetery.

Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation presents its annual Hallowed History Lantern Tour on Friday, October 26, 2018, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

History comes alive on this lantern-led tour of Hartford’s Cedar Hill Cemetery. Character actors share tantalizing true stories of some of our notable and not-so-notable residents. This year guests will meet Virginia Dox who reminisces about her 1891 Grand Canyon trek; Albert Pitkin who recounts his tale of a horrible railroad accident; and Emma Allen who recalls the 1911 heat wave; among others.

Cedar Hill Cemetery is located at 453 Fairfield Avenue in Hartford. Tickets are $15.00 per person. To ensure your participation, reservations are required for specific time slots. The event often sells out, so book early by calling Beverly Lucas at 860-956-3311.
