Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation Presents Free Concert

Enjoy an evening of new American roots music at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the popular Connecticut trio Last Fair Deal.

Join Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation on Friday, July 27 at 6:00 pm for Music Among the Memorials, a free concert showcasing the popular Connecticut trio Last Fair Deal.

Known for their stellar vocals and unique acoustic synergy, guitarist Paul Howard, fiddler Tom Hagymasi, and banjo player and mandolinist Phil Zimmerman will perform an eclectic selection of old-time string band, bluegrass, swing, and popular music.

Last Fair Deal has redrawn the map of American roots music with their energy and creativity. Influenced by bluegrass, jazz, acoustic rock and contemporary singer-songwriters, their repertoire include original music as well as interpretations of classic songs from John Hartford, Gillian Welch, the Beatles, Nat King Cole, John Hiatt, The Band, and Bob Dylan.

Cedar Hill Cemetery is located at 453 Fairfield Avenue in Hartford. The concert will be held on the lawn between the Garden and Cedar Mausoleums. Bring blankets, chairs and picnic dinners for a musical evening to remember. The rain date is Saturday, July 28 at 6:00 p.m.
