Cedar Hill Offers Tour about Infectious Diseases

Learn about diseases which afflicted Cedar Hill families in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Join Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 10:00 am for the guided tour Lest We Forget: Infectious Diseases.

Cholera infantum, the bloody flux, ague, putrid fever, filth disease, consumption – and the treatments sometimes sounded just as scary. Evelyn Bollert explores the fearsome infectious diseases that afflicted Cedar Hill families in the late 19th and early 20th centuries on this walking tour of the cemetery.

Admission to the program is $5.00 and free for Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation members. Advanced reservations are not required. Meet at the flagpole at the end of the entrance drive.
