Ct. Iwo Jima Survivor, Joseph Caminiti, Turns 100 At WWII Museum
When He Returned From the 80th "Reunion of Honor" In Iwo Jima

Connecticut Iwo Jima Survivor, Joseph Caminiti who just had his 100th birthday, and his friend Neal Supranovich recently returned from a 80th anniversary trip back from the island of Iwo Jima as part of the "Reunion of Honor" of the battle. The show had a discussion about their trip of a lifetime at the newly opened Connecticut World War II Museum, Research & Education Center. This is the only museum in Connecticut dedicated solely to World War II, the Home Front and those who served. At the event was memorabilia from and about Iwo Jima on display.
