20 years ago, Real Art Ways invited people to come together for art, music, and each other at the first Creative Cocktail Hour. Little did we know that it would still be going strong 20 years later.

On Thursday, November 17th at 6pm, Real Art Ways will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Creative Cocktail Hour - a monthly social gathering, always on the third Thursday of every month. People of all ages from different walks of life and from different cultural backgrounds. Everyone is welcome at Creative Cocktail Hour. 56 Arbor Street, Hartford, Connecticut.

In November, Creative Cocktail Hour will feature live music, four immersive art exhibitions, food and drinks, and a number of activities.
Live music by QWANQUA: an Ethiopian group whose repertoire is based on experimentalism and regional beats/moods of traditional Ethiopian music.

Visitors will experience four separate art exhibitions in Real Art Ways' galleries, including works from:
- Rashmi Talpade: Intricate photographic collages that explore community and consumerism.
- Danny Giles: Video work based on surveillance footage.
- Howard el-Yasin: An immersive installation that includes a suspended piece comprised of thousands of baked banana peels sourced from the artist's community.
- Joe Bun Keo: A new body of work that focuses on sentimental, cultural and utilitarian values made up of poetic assemblages and installations.
Food Truck and art-making activities great for both adults and kids.
Tickets are $15 for general admission (only $10 for Real Art Ways members). If you come on a bicycle and are a member, it's free! Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
