GLASTONBURY, CONNECTICUT – As the state recovers from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and working parents transition back to their respective offices, the need for cost-effective childcare and the interest in making up for lost time with some summer fun is perhaps stronger than ever. The team over at Connecticut Trial Firm LLC based in Glastonbury consists of a number of folks who are all too familiar with the stresses of the work/life juggle and with that, they recognized an opportunity to help.

This year, firm partners, Ryan McKeen and Andrew Garza decided that their resources would be best applied to providing two children from the community with the opportunity to attend the East Hartford Parks & Rec summer camp program as part of the firm founded Camp 4 Kids initiative. This year the spots went to brother and sister, Rihanna and Caiden.
“One of our core beliefs is giving back to the communities in which we serve,” said Ryan.

“Summer is a hard transition time for kids, particularly after the pandemic year that we had. We are happy to do our part to provide parents with some support and to give kids an opportunity to stay social and active,” added Andrew.
The team met with Stephen and the sibling duo and their excitement was palpable. “We appreciate it very much. I believe that camp should be accessible to any family, any child who shows interest. I am extremely happy that companies like CT Trial Firm are in the position to provide this sort of opportunity for my kids and others,” said Stephen.
This is one of many scenarios in which CT Trial Firm has focused their efforts on giving back. Just recently, the team announced the recipient of their 2021 Access to Education Scholarship as part of their commitment to providing opportunities to members of the community. Philanthropy is at the center of their core company values and many in the area have benefited from their ongoing support.
