East Hartford Man Arrested In Assault Of Woman

A former East Hartford man has been arrested for assaulting a woman.

EAST HARTFORD, CT — A former East Hartford man was arrest on charges that he assaulted a woman he was dating at the time, according to The Journal-Inquirer. Ryan Bolden, 24, who now lives in Florida, was charged with second-degree assault, third-degree assault, first-degree unlawful restraint, second and third-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and breach of peace.

The charges are in connection with the victim's report that Bolden assaulted her in June, repeatedly punching her in the face and throwing her to the floor. Bolden is free on a $30,000 bond and will appear in court Jan. 28.
