East Hartford Man Convicted Of Sexually Assaulting Minor: State
The 48-year-old will be sentenced in January.
EAST HARTFORD, CT — An East Hartford man has been convicted of sexually assaulting a minor and will be sentenced early next year, state officials announced Monday.
Hartford County State’s Attorney Sharmese L. Walcott said a jury in Hartford Superior Court on Oct. 18 found Aaron Fullerton, 48, of East Hartford, guilty of two counts of second-degree sexual assault; four counts of risk of injury to a minor with illegal sexual contact; two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault; and two counts of risk of injury to a minor.
Citing evidence introduced at the trial, Walcott said the defendant had sexually abused the minor child over four months during 2020-21.

Walcott said the minor disclosed the abuse to her mother, whose actions brought the abuse to an end.
According to Walcott, Fullerton was arrested by warrant following an investigation by the East Hartford Police Department.

Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 17, 2025, in Hartford Superior Court.
