Fake Gun Causes Hartford School Lockdown

The gun was made by a student, police said.

HARTFORD, CT - A student brought a fake gun made of rolled up paper to a school in Hartford this morning, prompting a lockdown, NBC Connecticut reported.

Police said a temporary "Code Yellow" was issued at McDonough Expeditionary Learning School, a school for students in grades six through eight.

No one was hurt.
