More people fear public speaking than death. Not us — we’ve got techniques and tools for building confidence, projecting expertise, and using collaboration to ease the anxiety of moving through the professional world. This workshop will take participants through exercises and games that will leave them both more comfortable and confident while networking. This workshop is for you, no matter what profession you're in.

Test it Out with a 4-Week Intro to Improv Class

  • Sundays starting February 3rd, from 1-3 PM
  • Wednesdays starting February 6th, from 7-9 PM
  • Tuesdays starting February 26th, from 7-9 PM

In this class, you’ll learn the basic techniques and games that professional improvisers and comedy writers use to collaboratively discover fun ideas, characters, and scenes. You'll work in teams, so you'll never be left hanging alone. Our number one rule is "make your partner look good," so come try improv in a supportive, no-pressure environment, and learn from a professional improviser!

Challenge Yourself with an 8-Week Improv 101 Class

  • Thursdays starting February 7th, from 7-10 PM
  • Sundays starting March 10th, from 1-4 PM

In this class you’ll learn to really listen to your scene partners, add interesting specifics & details, and progress & expand improvised scenes. We'll use short, fast-paced improv games and learn to act quickly and spend less time worrying about making the perfect move. Invent and inspire rich and consistent characters, and learn to create a playable environment with just miming. This course ends in a share performance for an invited audience at Sea Tea Comedy Theater.
