HARTFORD, CT — The Hartford Yard Goats may have packed up for the fall, but their home this Saturday, Oct. 22, will host a very special softball tournament featuring the area's bravest and finest — all for a good cause.

Hartford Firefighters Local 760 is hosting its annual Julio Lozada Softball Classic at Dunkin Donuts Park, 1214 Main St., Hartford, at 3:30 p.m.

Tickets are $10 at the gate, with all proceeds benefitting the Julio Lozada Scholarships, which are set up to aid youths in memory of Julio Lozada, who was killed in 1979 when a building collapsed on him when he was 11.
