Fire Rips Through East Hartford Home, Leads To Injuries
A firefighter and a resident were injured when the blaze broke out at a local home.
EAST HARTFORD, CT — A Friday morning fire at 45 Woodmont Drive displaced five and led to the hospitalization of one resident and one firefighter, according to The Journal-Inquirer. The firefighter experienced difficulty breathing while extinguishing the blaze and the resident, who fled the two-story home, had a minor leg burn.
All five people in the home managed to escape. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
