In total, Khan said, the program is a $5 million initiative reimbursing eligible property owners in Hartford who've had flood and sewage backup damage on or after Jan. 1, 2021.
Essentially, those seeking reimbursements can get an online application or visit the Blue Hills Civic Association temporary office at 1229 Albany Ave., third floor, suite 306, Hartford, to get one.

They can then be emailed in to HartfordFloodHelp@ct.gov or mailed to the BHCA.
If applicants are deemed to qualify, they must then have their site inspected prior to any potential reimbursement awards.
The announcement comes as the state of Connecticut has already approved $85 million in infrastructure improvements linked to sewage overflows and flooding in streets/basements in the North Hartford section of town.
