Get Your Spring On At CT Flower/Garden Show In Hartford
The 44th Connecticut Flower & Garden Show brings 80-plus hours of seminars, gardens, and exhibits to Hartford this weekend.
HARTFORD, CT — If the snow isn't melting fast enough for you, come down this weekend to Hartford to see what you have to look forward to in a couple of months.
The 44th Connecticut Flower & Garden Show will return to downtown Hartford from Thursday, Feb. 19, through Sunday, Feb. 22, featuring more than 80 hours of seminars and demonstrations alongside large-scale garden displays and hundreds of exhibitors.
The four-day event will be held at the Connecticut Convention Center, 100 Columbus Blvd., Hartford.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Organizers say the show is New England’s only major flower exhibition scheduled for 2026.

The event will span 150,000 square feet and include live landscape installations, floral gardens, and the annual standard flower show presented by the Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut, Inc.
This year’s theme is “A Storybook Garden.”
More than 20 horticulturalists, landscapers, and industry professionals are scheduled to present seminars included with admission.
Speakers include entomologist and conservationist Doug Tallamy, co-founder of Homegrown National Park and author of “How Can I Help?”, and organic gardening advocate Nancy DuBrule-Clemente, founder of NatureWorks.
“Over 80 hours of different seminars and demonstrations will be presented by more than 20 expert horticulturalists, landscapers, and industry professionals,” said Kristie Gonsalves, president of North East Expos, Inc., which produces the show.
Topics range from native ground covers and invasive plants to lawn care, soil testing, houseplants, water gardening, and monarch butterfly habitats.
Presenters include Dr. Nick Goltz, Diane St. John, Jen Plasky, Jim Sirch, and others.
Many speakers will answer audience questions and sell books following their sessions.
In addition to seminars, attendees can view more than 20 full-scale garden and landscape exhibits created by professional designers and nonprofit groups, browse nearly 400 exhibitor booths, and bring a half-cup soil sample for free testing at the UConn Home & Garden Education Center booth.
Advance tickets are $17 for adults and seniors and are available online through the final day of the show. Tickets purchased at the door are $20 for adults and seniors, $5 for children ages 5 to 12, and free for children under 5.
On-site parking at the convention center garage is $9 for the day. Additional parking options and shuttle services will be available at select downtown garages, depending on the day.
