Gun-Wielding Juvenile Arrested: Hartford PD

HARTFORD, CT — Police arrested two juveniles, confiscated a handgun and recovered three stolen vehicles Tuesday.

Members of the Hartford PD Street Crime Unit saw a stolen vehicle on Irving Street and attempted to pull it over. The driver put the car into reverse and hit another vehicle before fleeing on foot along with a passenger.

Officers took the two juveniles into custody after the chase and confiscated a .45 caliber handgun from one of the juveniles.

Two other stolen vehicles were found in the area. Both juveniles had active take into custody warrants and were transported to juvenile detention.
