Harc Raises More Than $39,000 At Annual Walk
The 17th Annual Harc Walk n' Roll drew hundreds to Dunkin Donuts Park.

Harc celebrated its first in-person fundraiser on Saturday, hosting its 17th annual Walk N’ Roll at Dunkin Donuts Park. Over two hundred Harc supporters and friends gathered to walk the concourse and field track, raising over $39,000 for the nonprofit organization. Harc’s mission is to ensure that people with intellectual disabilities lead lives of quality, inclusion, and dignity.

Proceeds from the event go directly toward funding Harc’s programs and services.
“We were so thrilled to hold the walk in person this year! Thanks to the generous support of the Hartford Yard Goats, Hartford Parking Authority, Dunkin Donuts, and all the volunteers and teams. The event shattered fundraising records,” said Lori Gailey, Vice President of Events and Merchandising.

The morning kicked off with its Master of Ceremonies, News 8 meteorologist Joe Furey, paying tribute to the organization and the people who make it such a special place.
The free public event also included games, raffles, and refreshments. Many of Harc’s residents and families attended.
