Hartford 7th-Grader Brings Gun To School: Reports
The seventh-grader reportedly had it in a backpack.
HARTFORD, CT — A city middle school was locked down, then dismissed for the day Wednesday after a pupil brought a gun to school, according to reports.
WFSB Channel 3, reports the incident happened at the Achievement First Hartford Summit Middle School, located on Greenfield Street, after a seventh-grade student brought in a firearm.
The lockdown was, later in the morning, lifted, according to WFSB.

According to WTNH Channel 8, the gun was quickly secured and was in the pupil's backpack.
