It took police about half a day to develop a suspect and arrest him.

HARTFORD, CT — Police have made an arrest in Wednesday's bank robbery at People's United Bank on Main Street.
Police got a call about the hold-up shortly before 11 a.m. and learned that a suspect passed a note to a teller that demanded money. The suspect then left with about $2,000, according to police.
A vehicle was observed leaving the scene and witnesses provided a suspect description. The suspected robber was taken into custody Wednesday evening and charged.
