Hartford Brewery Opens, Thrives Amid Pandemic

A Hartford business focused on providing craft beer supplies expanded into a brewery during the pandemic.

HARTFORD, CT — While the pandemic has hit businesses across the state hard, one Hartford brewery is persevering. Phantom Brewing is the newest craft-beer brewery and opened during the lockdown, The Hartford Business Journal reported.

Phantom started as a homebrew and restaurant supply business, then opened the brewery side of the business in April.

The owners said that once the pandemic hit and business slowed, they began planning the opening of the brewery in the 3,000-square-foot industrial space, according to The Hartford Business Journal.
