HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford man was arrested for possession of child pornography after tracing activity back to his residence, according to police.

Investigators with the State Police Computer Crimes Unit tracked back child pornography sharing activity to a Park Terrace address in Hartford in January 2018. They executed a search warrant in April 2018 and seized evidence, including items that contained child pornography files, police said.

Kent Roberts, 39, turned himself in May 2 on an active arrest warrant. He is charged with first-degree possession of child pornography and promoting a minor in an obscene performance. He was held in lieu of $250,000 bail.
